Simon Says Monday Challenge: start from scratch!

Here is my entry to Simon Says Monday Challenge: start from scratch!I love Cupcakes and Cupcake stamps.  I made a Birthday card in the past using Hero Arts "Happy Birthday Cupcake" Cling Stamps.  I decided to remake my card.  Instead of using the Cupcake stamp, I made my cupcake from scratch.  I sketched a Cupcake and used my Sakura Koi Water Color Pocket Field Sketch Box to paint this picture.

    Wow! I think your sketched cupcake is amazing and much better than 99.9% of the cupcakes stamps I've seen! I love that you truly did make it from scratch. I think it's whimsical and quirky and elegant all at once. I also really like how you colored it, which added even more dimension and depth. In fact, I'm craving a cupcake now! Lastly, I thought it was so clever to make brightly colored candles and I like how you made the background reflect their colors and how it's bright yellow around where they're lit. Too clever! This card is really gorgeous and yummy (ha, ha) and I'm so glad you shared it with us for this week's Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge!
