I'm hitting the ground and running into STAMPtember! Here is my entry into
Simon Says Monday Challenge: Boldly go into Stamptember! I fell in love with the Inkadinkado Stamp Set "Test Tubes." I love these awesome bold stamps for Halloween. I took a piece of Tim Holtz Watercolor Cardstock and used my blending tool and applied Tim Holtz Distress Ink "Vintage Phone" and "Black Soot" to my background. Once all my ink was applied I activated it with some water. When my background was dry, I added text by using Unity Stamp Company's "Insta-live,love, dream" and stamping it with Memento "Tuxedo Black" ink. To finish off the background, I heat embossed the sentiment and spider web from Inkadinkado Stamp Set "All Hallow's Eve" with Recollections Embossing Powder in "Ebony" and "Gold." To make the Test Tubes and Beakers, I embossed the Inkadinkado "Test Tubes" Stamp Set with Ebony and then water colored my imaging using my Winsor & Newton Cotman Water Colour Sketchers' Pocket Box. ReplyDeleteYou did these test tubes proud, that's for sure! I really like how you made the liquid inside them seem really...liquid! The watery technique is stunning. I also love the subtle spider webs in the background. These made me feel happy and Halloween-y at the same time! Thanks for the inspiration and for sharing your skills with us for this week's Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge!
